was established in
November of 1995 and went "live" on June 24th, 1996.
Our objective is to make the
Internet an integral part of our customers' daily lives. We do this by
keeping a small company atmosphere while having the capabilities and
resources of large providers. We intend to obtain and keep our
customer's trust by providing high quality, high speed, fully-supported
easy Internet access,
as well as web hosting, Internet commerce and other services at
competitive prices. We enjoy our work and are proud of our service.
We adhere

- During normal business hours,
you will always hear a human voice picking up the phone and
answering any questions or issues you may have.
- We manage our business
to always stay ahead of the technology and capacity growth curves.
We monitor our network constantly and add new equipment and
technology regularly.
- We invest a
significant portion of our recurring earnings to improve our network
and orderly replace our equipment.
- Our tech support hold time is
almost always under a minute.
- For our dial-up
customers, we have a strict "no busy
signals" policy. You will never receive a busy signal due to a
lack of phone lines or modems on our end. However, the public switch
phone network gets overwhelmed at peak times and you could get
"fast busies" and friendly operators telling you there are
no more lines. These factors are beyond our control.
- With our dedicated-circuit
customers, we have a 99.85% uptime record. This is a
six year track-record.
- We believe and support
our local communities. We make our living and live in the same
communities.
By following the above
policies and engaging in good business practices we have grown to be one of the area's largest and most
popular ISPs. We are full members of the Greater Newburyport, Greater
Salem, North Shore and South Shore Chambers of Commerce. Members receive a 10%
discount on most services.
We are also recognized
and credited on the
Internet as one of the first successful, fully integrated,
large-capacity Windows NT-based Internet Service Provider. Moreover, as
of late, we also support non-NT servers. Our new Games Server runs on Linux.
