High Bandwidth Solutions

GreenNet^® offers dedicated, high bandwidth connections. This is the true and tried technology.  It is used for mission-critical applications.  There are no distance restrictions. For newer, less-tried technology you may want to consider DSL Solutions, which have distance restrictions. 

Technical Primer:

1) Regular ISDN Service:    Setup: $50.

$35/month per B Channel.   Order On Line:

• Single or Dual Channel

• Digital data connection, unlike analog dialup. Low latency

• 100 hours modem connect time. Each additional, $1

• Access to our multi-homed T3 internet backbone network.

• Requires Verizon ISDN service (about $35/month).

• Verizon will charge per-minute usage charges

• You will need an ISDN modem or router.  We rent ISDN modems for $20/month or ISDN routers for $30/month.  Our prices include configuration.  We charge $250 to configure your router. 

2) 56K DDS (Dedicated Digital Service):

$99.95 per month.  Setup: $150.  Order On Line: 

• Connection speed of 56K: both receiving and sending

• Point to Point Connection. Used by Bank ATMs

• Very low latency, unlike a dialup 56K connection

• Access to our multi-homed T3 internet backbone network.

• One static IP addresses included. Want more?

• You will need a router with CSU/DSU.  We rent them for $30/month. Our prices include configuration..  We charge $250 to configure your router.  Free equipment rental with a two-year contract.

An additional local loop charge, based on the distance from your location to our nearest POP, is charged by Verizon.  Call 978- 363-8898 for an all-in quote.  Minimum 1 year contract.

3) 128K Centrex ISDN Service:  (Available in MA, NY, NJ, PA, DC, DE, VA, WV).  Setup: $150.  Order On Line:

• Dual B-Channel connection giving you up to 128k/second transfer rates.  All-digital data circuit.

• Because you are part of our Centrex system, you do not pay Verizon ISDN per-minute usage charges.

• Unlike DSL, there are no distance limitations. 

• Requires Verizon ISDN circuit installation. ($200 plus inside wiring -minimum $120).

• You will need an ISDN modem or router.  We rent ISDN modems for $20/month or ISDN routers for $30/month.  Our prices include configuration.  We charge $250 to configure your router.  Free equipment rental with a two-year contract.

*200 hours per month (100 per B-Channel). Each addtl. hour, $1.

4) Frame Relay T1 Service:  Setup: $1000.

5) Point to Point T1 Service:  Setup: $1000.

Other Services

a) Dedicated Dialup PPP Connection: 

$79.95/month. Setup: $50.  Order On Line:

• Analog (56K) or ISDN (Single Channel, 64K)

• No usage charges from us.  Usage charges from Telco.

• Dual Channel ISDN (128K) available for $159.90/month

b) Co-location Of Your Server  Setup: $150

For collocation your server is located at GreenNet's^® West Newbury office and is fully connected into our Multi-homing, T3 backboned network. You develop and manage your content or software and we monitor and manage the server itself.  You can update information from your machine via FTP or Pc-Anywhere (not included) 

The recurring monthly cost is $69.95 per standard server (18" X 18", 8"), or fraction thereof, plus bandwidth usage.  Bandwidth usage is charged at $20 per Gig/month or fraction thereof.  For example, customers can get one standard server plus 1 Gig of traffic for $89.95/month. Each server is given one IP address. Additional IP addresses at $10/month, each.

All of our Internet access plans permit and encourage bandwidth upgrades. Any previously paid startup fees are applied to the startup fees of the higher bandwidth service, with the exception of ISDN  and DDS equipment, which cannot be used for higher-bandwidth plans.
